Top 7 Ski Apps – Make the most of the Slopes

With the ski season now under way, we ask Consensio Chalets, the luxury ski holiday operator in the French Alps, to share their top apps to ensure you hit the slopes running (or skiing).  From GPS trackers measuring your speed to video-based training to get you fit for the slopes, these downloads are a must.

SNOWCRU Skiing & Snow Tracking

Available on iOS and Android

Adding a bit of a competitive edge to your skiing trip, this app records data while you’re on the mountain and then uses it to compare against the data of your friends. You can measure vertical feet that have been travelled, most runs per day, and fastest speed. Stay in touch with your friends while you’re skiing and then compare all of your stats back in the chalet over a nice glass of wine afterwards.

A short intense video-based training programme for all levels of skiers to help you get into the best physical shape to have a great time on the slopes. Led by a clinical expert and physiotherapist, the videos offer up a series of exercises that can be completed in just eight minutes. You will be guided through exercises that touch on balance, coordination, core and strength endurance. Workouts can be done in the gym or at home and don’t require any sort of equipment.
