New Year – New You!

With the New Year celebrations well and truly over, resolutions made and hopefully not already broken, and kids going back to school, what better way to start 2018 than concentrating on YOU.

Health and happiness can often be on peoples’ minds at this time of the year and so we thought we’d share a few interesting features to make the January Blues, well, not quite so blue!

For those of you who swear by the powers of turmeric and want to know what the new superfoods are for this year, Good Housekeeping features an interesting article on the 18 health trends that will be hot in 2018. Whole Foods also reveal the food trends they think will define this year and some of them are more than a little weird!

Are you already bored with sipping water and green tea and the end of Dry January seems miles away?  Take a look at the best alcohol-free beers, wines and cocktails as chosen by Metro this month – Mojito anyone?

And for exercise, the HIIT (High intensity interval training) is back again for another year as Men’s Health share the Top 10 fitness trends that you’ll see everywhere in 2018.  If however you are looking for something a little less energetic, but want to peel back the years, Health.com details how facial yoga can make you look three years younger just by following a 30 minute routine several times a week.  So get gurning everyone!
